For local fire suppression, Engtek offers 3 types of fire suppression systems from Heien Larssen – Water mist, Foam, and Gaseous systems, which are all approved by major marine classification societies. Each system caters to different areas for fire protection.

| Water Mist (FlexiFog®) | Low pressure water mist system for public and accommodation and public areas, high risk areas and engine rooms. |
| Foam (FlexiFOAM) | For helideck, cargo deck, pump rooms, machinery spaces etc. |
| Gaseous (CO2) | For cargo pump rooms and cargo holds, switchboard rooms, engine control rooms and machinery spaces. |
